Here's an article on last year's bash:
On The Scene at 918Marketing's Annual drivers club appreciation event.

You know those parties where you barely know anyone, so you're left wandering around aimlessly with your deviled egg hors d'oeuvres and plastic glass of wine hoping to find someone, anyone, to talk to? This wasn't one of those parties.
I received the invite from the guys at 918Marketing. I've had the pleasure of working with them in the past, and I knew them to be not only great at what they do but also a lot of fun. Nevertheless, I wasn't going to know any other people there, and standing sheepishly against the wall like a 6th grader at his first dance didn't sound all that appealing. The invitation, beautifully designed with the kind of creative artwork and quality card stock that demands your attention, said it was the My Car Makes Cash Club Member Extravaganza. With a name like that, I decided I'd be a fool to say no, so I put my inhibitions aside and jumped in a cab.
Upon my arrival I was met by Melissa, a tall brunette beauty with a 918Marketing tank top, 1,000-watt smile and inviting personality. She warmly welcomed me to the party, told me to let her know if there was anything at all she could get me, and then deposited me inside the expansive club. The party, I soon found out, was for all the drivers and advertisers involved with My Car Makes Cash.com, 918Marketing's branded vehicle website. Throughout the venue they had placed actual wrapped cars and trucks advertising many different businesses, from the local Italian Bistro to the blockbuster film coming out next month. It took me a moment just to take in this wall-to-wall marketing feast for the senses. In addition to the branded vehicles, waiters on 918Marketing branded scooters served appetizers, while waitresses on 918Marketing Segways served up the cocktails. I'd certainly never seen anything like it, and from the looks of amusement on other faces, neither had anyone else.
The party was buzzing with an unmistakable energy; everyone was walking around with huge smiles on their faces, incredibly pleased with their surroundings. These guys certainly know their marketing. Everything was branded in creative and unusual ways, and in every corner of the party you discovered something interesting to explore and talk about with other partygoers.
I was speaking with one woman who was a My Car Makes Cash club member, and as luck would have it the owner of Geno's Trattoria, the local restaurant that branded her vehicle, walked up just as we were talking. "I owe a big portion of my business to this young lady," the owner said with a huge smile as he gave her a hug. "I'd say 50% of our new business comes from people who have seen her driving around town. It's been tremendous." After he left, I asked her how she liked driving her branded vehicle. "Oh my goodness, I love it," she gushed. "People are always so excited to see me, and to get paid for doing something that I would be doing anyway, it's amazing. And it doesn't hurt to get a free meal at Geno's every once in awhile, either," she said with a wink as she headed back into the party.
As the party raged on and showed no signs of letting up, I suddenly remembered my 7am meeting the next morning. To ease my sadness at this recollection, I flagged down a waiter on a Segway for what must have been my 10th crab cake of the evening and regrettably made my way to the exit. The sounds of excited conversation and laughter filled my head as I looked jealously back over the event. The guys at 918Marketing weren't exaggerating, an extravaganza it surely was.
As I was on the curb trying in vain to hail a cab, Ryan Simonson, Advertising Coordinator at 918Marketing, came up and stopped me. "Let me help you out," he said with a smile and then whistled down the street. Seconds later, a stylish Mini Cooper pulled up, all decked out in a wrap for a new energy drink that had just hit the market. "We've taken the liberty of arranging special transportation for some of our guests, hope you enjoyed yourself," and he was off to tend to another guest. Surprised, and more than a little impressed, I told my friendly "brand driver" where I lived and sat back to enjoy the ride. On our drive home, we got our share of interested looks from other drivers checking out the branded car, and I got to reflect on the incredible night I'd just had. These guys may know their marketing, I said to myself, but I made a mental note to propose a new business venture to them Monday morning: 918Partying.
